Matt provides Buyer and Seller Representation services throughout the extended Charleston area with a special focus on beach, waterfront, and luxury homes; and he has contributed to some of the highest sales volumes and prices on the Isle of Palms during his tenure. Matt is the Past President of the Board of Directors for Charleston Trident Association of Realtors and is a member of several committees including Professional Standards, Legislative Affairs, and the Realtors Housing Opportunities Fund. He serves on the South Carolina Department of Insurance Safe Home Advisory Committee to improve the level of protection and disaster mitigation homeowners in South Carolina.  He is on the Charleston Regional Development Alliance Board of Directors in 2016 and 2017 whose efforts are geared towards recruiting key industries to the area, improving workforce readiness to fill those jobs and enhancing transportation infrastructure for the growing population. He is experienced in 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, heirs property, grant funding for real estate, loss mitigation, and various land issues ranging such coastal tidelands and zoning. As a CCIM Candidate Matt is also providing greater service in commercial real estate to Sellers, Landlords, Buyers, Tenants and Developers. Matt is a native Charlestonian who takes pride in building relationships with clients and getting results through a no-nonsense, common sense approach to business.
