I have been working with Matt for just over 5 months now. I will speak to his character later but let me first address the numbers. In those 5 months he listed and sold my first home at 20K above the Zillow estimate. It was on the market less than 30 days and we got 95% of our asking price. A month later I got a contract on my first investment property which was a duplex in downtown Charleston. Because of Matt’s attentiveness and quick acting we were able to get that unit under contract within 24 hours of it being put on the market. The only reason we got the property is because we had the first bid. Numerous other bids at the same or higher came in but the seller honored ours because it was first. As if those two stories were not enough he then sent out flyers in a neighborhood I was looking to invest and was able to get my 2nd investment property under contract (a quadplex on James Island). This was perhaps the most impressive feat considering the property wasn’t even on the market. I have worked with other agents in the past and Matt has blown all of them away. He goes above and beyond to make sure the deal gets done – but most importantly he does it with professionalism and honesty. If you are looking for an agent who is going to get you the house you want look no further than Matt. I have never felt the slightest bit of pressure to put a contract on a house or accept something less than I wanted. Matt will advise, but never pushes you to do anything outside your comfort zone.
